Why this exists

Voice cloning got easy. Proving you're real didn't.

Podcasters, narrators, musicians, and anyone whose voice is their livelihood now publish hours of clean training data with every episode. Cloning tools can turn that audio into a convincing fake — for scam calls, fake endorsements, or content you never recorded.

The law is catching up slowly. Your listeners can't tell the difference. Vocrypt gives you the missing piece: a way to prove which voice is really yours, and to find out when it isn't.

Enroll, live

You read a randomized phrase into your mic, in real time. No file uploads — so nobody can enroll a recording of you and claim your voice.

Step 2

Get your voiceprint

We derive a cryptographic fingerprint from how you actually sound. The fingerprint is what we keep — not a library of your recordings.

Step 3

Detect and get alerted

Submit suspect audio — or let monitoring flag it — and Vocrypt checks it against your voiceprint. Match or no match, you get a clear answer and an alert.

Vocrypt is launching as a detection-and-alert platform. Automated compensation for verified voice theft is on the roadmap and will ship only after independent security audit.

Questions
Do you keep recordings of my voice?

No. Enrollment audio is processed into a derived voiceprint — a mathematical fingerprint — and that fingerprint is what the system uses. Raw audio isn't kept in a browsable library of your voice.

Can someone enroll my voice as theirs?

Enrollment is live-only: you must read a randomized phrase in real time, so a downloaded episode of your podcast can't be replayed into the enrollment flow. Detecting and resisting playback attacks is a core part of the platform's design.

What happens when a clone is detected?

You get an alert with the evidence. At launch, Vocrypt is a detection-and-alert platform — the automated compensation system is planned for a later phase, after independent audit.

Where is Vocrypt based?

Vocrypt is built in British Columbia, Canada, and designed from day one around Canadian privacy law and biometric regulations like Illinois' BIPA.
